Stacy•Eric {Married}

Stacy and Eric. Wow.

That pretty much sums it up. I got to this wedding with a little idea of the H.G. Wells theme but had no idea the follow-through would be so detailed and extensive. I first walk into Lawry’s in Hollywood to see the centerpieces- I could not believe how rad they all were- they all had their own unique items drizzled about but all tied in with the old clock parts, light bulbs, trinkets, and other cool old stuff:)

Placecards with an invitation:

Is this the coolest bride hat ever?? …or only bride hat ever…

Crazy-rad shoes!

Old typewriter keys everywhere!!

Many guests came in costume- it was as if we were in a different time and place.

The flowers were done by Floral Fields.

I love any man that gets choked up during their vows– notice the costume on the officiant!

…And goggles on the statue on the mantel.

I love the texture of the wall, this is my favorite of the two of them!!

It was tough finding a woodsy area on La Cienega but I did find a little strip of trees and pushed them in it…

What an amazing cake! there was a TV crew there filming the cake and interviewing the B&G for a show. The detail was just insane- I especially liked the antique keyboard at the bottom- I guess they didn’t have wireless back then.

Hope you enjoyed, I sure did. I was on decor-scoping overload with all the amazing details at this wedding- amazing!

Special thanks to all the incredible vendors who made this truly unique wedding possible!

Matt Lowe - Most excellent wedding! What stunning attention to detail – it must have taken forever to track down all that stuff! Has to be one of the most stylish I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot. Would have shot this wedding for free if only I weren’t 6000 miles away. Darn :)

Jae Yu - I was there. It was a great wedding and lots of fun. Wonderful couple. Too bad a sword-fight didn’t break out, that would have been the topping on the cake. Especially since Eric had a authentic saber and he knows how to fence.

Emma - Oh wow! This is absolutely breathtaking! I wrote a post about costumed weddings a few weeks ago, I’m going to follow it up with a post about this wedding as an example of exactly how to do it. Really inspirational stuff, thanks for sharing the wonderful photos!
