From Pine Trees to Palm Trees in less than 24 hours Joel was back at it. He barely had time to unpack (or should I say drop his bag in the laundry room for me to unpack
) from Stephanie and Mike’s wedding in Yosemite before he was downloading memory cards, charging batteries, and loading his gear for yet another amazing wedding. A far cry from the snow capped mountains of Yosemite, but just as beautiful! Susan and Robert had an intimate backyard wedding at their Laguna Beach home with their closest friends and family. Although completely different than the day prior in the snowy mountains- the beachy sun, ocean breeze and smiling faces made for an amazing day!

The bride’s bouquet was done by Jenny B and the rest were done by the ladies at Collette’s Catering- awesome!

Cake and Catering by our favorites at Colette’s Catering and Events who were kind enough to refer this client to us!

Susan, the blushing bride.

And Robert, the dashing groom. Joel said it was so amazing how happy these two were- both had lost their first spouses and found one-another online!

Her children giving her away…

This picture below is by far my favorite of the day. I immediatly thought of my sister when I saw it. I have no idea if this is Susan’s sister…but that is the beauty of pictures, you can come up with your own story about them. I instantly thought how I would grab this up if it were on the front of a greeting card hoping deperately that the inside would be blank for me to fill out on my own. I hate it when I find the perfect card and the inside message jacks it all up! Only the purchaser of a card like this could sum up what needed to be said to the recipient. All mine would need to say is, ‘I Love Ya’‘ and I’m confident my sis would know everything I was feeling. Just as I think Susan and whoever this may be, were feeling at that very moment. Another fine example of how one picture can tell a whole story (might not always be the correct one, but it’s a story![]()

Love this…

Joel said a friend of Robert’s brought this three foot bottle of Champagne that he got at an auction more than 20 years ago…Now that is a good friend! And what a perfect day to toast with it.

Susan’s pup..

Until next time…
